Chris is a native of Maine who joined Weinstein, Lovell & Ordway, P.A. as an attorney in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked as a corporate attorney in the New York and Paris offices of an international law firm for five years. During this time, Chris represented both institutional corporate clients and early-stage businesses in connection with complex corporate and financial transactions, including public and private fundraising, private funds and investment structuring, initial public offerings, debt issuances, liability management transactions, mergers and acquisitions, business organization and structuring, and general commercial and securities law matters. Working closely with clients in a wide variety of industries and at various points in their growth trajectories gave Chris a practical understanding of the myriad needs and challenges faced by growing companies and experience in crafting tailored solutions to help clients meet their goals.
Chris’ practice at Weinstein, Lovell & Ordway, P.A. continues this focus on business and corporate matters, including business organization and structuring, entity formation, operating agreements, financing and lending transactions, commercial acquisitions and sales, joint ventures and partnership agreements, and other corporate matters for companies at all growth stages. In addition, Chris’s practice includes representing individuals and businesses in diverse real estate matters, including advising clients with respect to condominium matters, negotiating and drafting leases and sale documents, and advising on landlord-tenant matters and questions of zoning and land use.
Chris also assists individuals and families with meeting their personal and family estate planning needs, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, business succession, continuing family ownership of vacation properties, and the administration of estates through the probate process.
